Description
FAURE House in REVIN.
A substantial coat rack in green-lacquered openwork cast iron; the pediment is adorned with foliage-decorated pinnacles and centred with stylised shells, the central section featuring a bevelled rectangular mirror surrounded by a frieze of stylised water leaves, the lower section forming an umbrella and walking-stick holder with numerous compartments, decorated with numerous foliage scrolls; the whole features seven double coat hooks and rests on a rectangular base with moulded steps, featuring three enamelled cast-iron receptacles.
