BURGUNDY – DIJON TOWN HALL. Jean CATTIN, Viscount-Mayor. Silver token, 1671. The obverse features the coat of arms of Jean Catin (Counsellor to Parliament and Lord of Villotte), supported by two swans.
The reverse bears the crowned arms of the Duchy of Burgundy (comprising modern Burgundy and ancient Burgundy) within a laurel wreath, dated 1671 in the exergue. Legend: PRIMVS IVLIO SVB SIDERE CONSVLTAS.
