SAGLIER FRÈRES. A substantial set of silver-plated cutlery, in the Louis XV style with filleted edges. The set comprises twelve table forks (L. 21 cm, 79 g each), twelve soup spoons (L. 21 cm, 90 g each), twelve cake forks (L. 15 cm, 23 g each), twelve teaspoons (L. 15 cm, 30 g each), one ladle (L. 31 cm, 249 g), one serving set comprising a spoon (L. 26 cm, 143 g) and a fork (L. 27 cm, 110 g), as well as a cake server (L. 28 cm, 136 g). The pieces bear the square maker’s mark of the silversmith Saglier Frères and weight marks. The overall condition is very good, with slight scratches from use.
