Édouard DROUOT (1859–1945). ‘Muse of the Woods’. Bronze sculpture with a brown patina, depicting a nude young woman, crowned with laurels, playing a double flute. It rests on a naturalistic plinth signed ‘E. Drouot’ and mounted on a moulded circular base in sea-green marble, adorned with a cartouche bearing the title. Dimensions: H. 51 cm – W. 13 cm – D. 21 cm. Condition: generally good condition, slight wear to the patina.
