A Louis XV-style veneered wooden chest of drawers, with a curved front and sides; it features four drawers in three rows (including two small ones at the top) adorned with fluted panels. Rich gilded metal fittings in the Rocaille style (espagnolette-style finials, foliage-decorated handles, clogs, lock plates and lamp-base finials). The piece is topped by a thick marble top, moulded with a ‘bec-de-corbin’ profile. Condition: Showing signs of wear. Marked damage to the varnish on the front (numerous drop-shaped marks), small scratches and slight knocks from use. Dimensions: Height: 75 cm – Width: 107 cm – Depth: 51 cm.
