A set comprising a clock, a lamp and a plate. A Rocaille-style clock in gilded metal depicting a young reaper. Enamelled dial. It stands on an oval-shaped base of blackened wood (the top is broken and detached). Also included is a table lamp with two brass arms, topped with a painted sheet-metal shade decorated with garlands. Finally, a large, handmade pewter soup plate (hallmark JAG). Dimensions: clock (excluding base) H. 26 cm, W. 25 cm, D. 13 cm; lamp 54 x 35 x 21 cm; plate diam. 28 cm. Condition: signs of wear; the clock’s gilding is worn in places; the lamp’s electrical wiring needs checking.
