A substantial lot of eleven vintage cinema posters (featuring fantasy, science fiction, adventure, thriller and peplum themes), including: *The Strange Creature from Black Lake* (120 x 160 cm, illustration by C. Belinsky); The Lost World (120 x 160 cm); Under the Biggest Big Top in the World (120 x 160 cm); Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (60 x 80 cm); Planet of the Apes (60 x 80 cm); Sinbad’s 7th Voyage (60 x 80 cm); Sinbad’s Fantastic Voyage (60 x 80 cm); Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (US format 69 x 104 cm); King Kong (50 x 70 cm); The Island of Dr Moreau (52 x 40 cm); and The Labours of Hercules (60 x 80 cm). Set folded. Showing significant signs of wear: posters ‘as found’ with pronounced creases from display, stains, small tears, fraying and possible losses at the margins or at the intersections of the folds, signs of handling, and numerous handwritten annotations (titles, sizes, former prices) on the reverse of most of the posters.
