Description
18th-century flintlock officer’s pistol. The flintlock lock bears a ‘Bordeaux-style’ signature. The octagonal-fluted barrel bears a ‘Bustindui’ master’s mark at the muzzle, inlaid in gold. The half-barrel stock is made of walnut with a chequered grip. Metal fittings, including a trigger guard with a finger rest engraved with a monogram within palm leaves. Wooden stock with a light-coloured butt. Length: 34 cm. Condition: scattered oxidation, signs of wear, mechanism not tested.
