Description
A substantial collection of reproductions of military accoutrements in brass and patinated metal (cast iron and stamped metal), comprising eleven items: Three First Empire-style diamond-shaped plaques (infantry and artillery). Two First Empire-style base plaques (half-moon shaped) for line infantry (59th and 117th regiments). One First Empire-style Guard’s fur cap badge. One plaque featuring a rooster surmounting the number 7, in the July Monarchy style. Four applied eagles (two large and two small) with outstretched wings, in the Empire style. Condition: signs of wear, traces of soldering and fastenings either added or missing.
