10063-56 / K4 / Lionel Edwards (1878–1966) “Tally Ho!” 1911 and “Not a drawing room story” (1911), a pair of colour engravings; the first is signed with a monogram and dated in the lower left-hand corner of the plate, titled in the centre of the margin and accompanied by an extract from the poem “The place where the old horse died” by the Scotsman George John Whyte-Melville (1821–1878), referring to the hound hunt, in the bottom right-hand margin; the second signed with a monogram and dated on the plate in the lower left-hand corner, with the title centred in the margin; 38 x 52.5 cm (view size).
