A set comprising five polychrome leaded stained-glass panels mounted on metal bases. It comprises: - A series of four rectangular panels based on Hildebert de Lavardin’s depiction of the Tree of Jesse, preserved at Saint-Julien Cathedral in Le Mans. These panels depict four kings or prophets identified by their speech bubbles, including Amos, Zechariah and Malachi. 96 x 27 cm. - A circular panel depicting the Ascension of Christ (fragmented). Diameter 90 cm. A contemporary work created using 19th-century stained-glass panels. Chips, cracks and small areas missing.
