Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904)
An ovoid vase with shoulders and a hemmed neck on a multi-stepped pedestal. Proof in pinkish blue glass with yellow ochre, green and blue bubbled decoration. A wheel-engraved design of leafy trees on a partially hammered background with small facets. Hot-glued pedestal in yellow grooved white glass and ring in green and yellow blue glass (foot ground, two chips to pedestal, small bubbles to neck).
Signed in the decoration on a plane tree leaf.
Height 17 cm
Provenance: Former Émile Gallé collection; in the family ever since.
