In-4, soft ivory vellum, plain spine, red title page, double gilt line framing on the covers, flowered endpapers, original illustrated cover preserved (contemporary binding). Binding slightly pitted. A fine first edition, with monochrome illustrations by Habert Dys framing the text and a black frontispiece title by Desprès. Printed in a run of 1,050 copies, no. 156 of 1,000 on Marais paper.
