(without the half-title leaf of Part 3). Aubergine-coloured glazed calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, title and volume number in gold (contemporary binding with the Ducastin bookbinder’s label). Top cap worn, bottom cap and corners very slightly worn. A few scattered foxing spots. A rare first edition, particularly in a contemporary binding. (Vicaire VII, 194.)
