Amsterdam, n.p., 1745. 2 vols. small 8vo, in havana calf, smooth, decorated spines, title label in red morocco, volume number label in light brown morocco, triple gilt line framing the covers, gilt line on the edges, gilt edges (contemporary binding). A few discreet historical restorations. A frontispiece signed by Lebas, 1 half-page vignette (La Fontaine writing) engraved by Fessard, after Cochin, 2 fleurons on the title pages and 69 vignettes by Cochin engraved by Chedel, Fessard and Ravenet, though unsigned.
