Amsterdam, n.p., 1776. 2 volumes in-8, in havana morocco, smooth spines with gold filleting, title and volume number in gold, double gold fillet framing the covers, roulette on the edges and fillets, gilt edges (contemporary binding). A charming reprint based on the 1743–1745 edition, enhanced with a frontispiece, two title medallions, a portrait of La Fontaine seated at his desk at the head of the biographical note, and 69 vignettes by COCHIN at the head of the tales.
