London [Paris], [Cazin], 1790. 2 volumes, small 12mo, speckled sheepskin, smooth, decorated spines, title labels and volume numbers in brown. , the words ‘Édition Cazin’ in gold lettering at the tail, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, gilt filleted edges, gilt edges (contemporary binding). A long scratch on the second cover of volume 1. Reprint of the rare Cazin edition of 1780. It is illustrated with a portrait of the author (unsigned) and 24 delightful engravings by Desrais (one by Goujet and three unsigned).
