REGNARD (Jean-François). Works. Paris, Maradan, 1790. 4 vols. large 8vo, green morocco, plain decorated spines, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, gilt edges (contemporary binding). A worn tail cap. A fine edition printed on Holland paper. It is illustrated with a portrait and 12 separate plates by Borel, engraved by Vignet, Croutelle, Halbou, Duhamel & Le Roy (Cohen 866). A few rare small foxing spots. A precious copy in period morocco. An interesting gilt bookplate bearing the letter ‘N’ surmounted by an imperial crown (with no possible connection to imperial provenance).
