In-4, havana half-shagreen with a band, smooth spine decorated with four horizontal strips of black morocco, gilt title, vertical strips of black morocco on the covers, original illustrated cover preserved. Scuffed, split at the joints, front cover detached. Lithographs by Alexeieff, both in the text and as illustrations. Print run of 650 copies; no. 51 of 600 on vellum from the Montgolfier paper mills in Annonay.
