Small quarto in folio format, printed cover, in slipcase and case. 30 elegant stencil compositions within the text by J. Berque. Printed in an edition of 150 numbered and signed copies (no. 133). A very fine copy, enhanced by a lovely full-page ORIGINAL GOAUSHE signed by Jean Berque with his initials ‘E.A.S.’ to Noël Chaux (whose bookplate has been affixed to the slipcase). Includes the small catalogue of illustrated art books published by the Gonin brothers (4 pp., in-8). Jean Berque (1896–1954) was a pupil of the Nabis painters Félix Vallotton, Maurice Denis and Paul Sérusier.
