In-4 cherry morocco, smooth spine decorated with the title in gold and geometric motifs in mosaic-style red morocco (faded) at the head and foot, fine compositions on incised and painted leather panels on the covers depicting views of Marrakech, gilt head, interior framing of double gilt line and mosaic fleurons, illustrated cover and spine preserved, in a slipcase with flaps (E. Berthet). 33 beautiful colour illustrations by J.-F. Bouchor, including 10 insert plates. Print run of 550 copies; no. 63 of 500 on Arches vellum. Spine sun-faded, otherwise a very fine copy.
