*La Leçon d’amour dans un parc*, illustrated with 45 watercolours by Pierre Brissaud, stencilled and retouched by hand. Paris, Lapina, 1925. In-4, brown morocco leather, spine with four raised bands, author’s name and title gilded, date at the foot, geometric gilded fillet patterns on the covers extending onto the spine with a pretty Art Deco cold-embossed floral design at the top of the covers, gilded and embossed bands forming an inner frame, honey-coloured moiré endpapers and lining, edges gilt on strips, colour-illustrated covers and spine preserved, in a slipcase with flaps.
45 watercolours reproduced in and outside the text using stencils.
Print run of 501 copies; no. 204 of 403 on Dutch laid paper. Spine sun-faded, scattered foxing, otherwise a fine copy in a lovely unsigned contemporary binding.
