ENGELS (Robert) & BEDIER (Joseph). The Romance of Tristan and Iseult. Paris, Piazza, 1922. Small in-4, beige shagreen, spine with five raised bands extending into blind-stamped decoration on the covers, blind-stamped title, natural calfskin lining embossed with floral diamond patterns in blind around a large central diamond featuring the engraved and painted figures of Iseult and Tristan, light brown silk endpaper brocaded with a floral design, gilt headband, cover and spine preserved, with original slipcase with flaps (E. Berthet). Colour illustrations in the text by Engels. Spine slightly faded, otherwise a fine copy from the unnumbered edition.
