FOUJITA (Tsuguharu) & RAUCAT (Thomas). L'honorable partie de campagne. Paris, Gallimard, 1927. Quarto, pink half-box with black box band, plain spine, palladium title with blind-stamped dots, wood-grain paper covers, top edge painted black, cover and spine preserved, in a box with flaps (Zipélius Brillouin). Frontispiece and 29 colour engravings by Foujita within the text. Printed in a run of 357 copies; no. 278 of 320 on Arches vellum. Spine sun-faded, otherwise a fine copy in a lovely binding by the workshop of Jeanne Zipélius and Madeleine Brillouin, active in Paris from 1941 until the late 1950s; their work was exhibited from 1946 onwards at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs.
