Large 8vo in red morocco, spine with four raised bands and richly decorated sides, gilt title, date at the tail, gilt head, red shagreen lining decorated with fleurons and lozenges in gilt dotted line, gilt dots, framed by a double green morocco band with gilt fillets and fleurons, endpapers of light red tabis, gilt headband, cover and spine preserved, in a box with flaps (Léon Lapersonne). Compositions by Georges Rochegrosse, etched by Champollion. Print run of 400 copies; no. 62 of the 100 on Japanese paper, featuring three states of the etchings (pure etching, etching completed before the letter, etching with the letter). A very fine copy on Japanese paper in a beautiful lined and signed binding.
