A single edition of just 200 copies; copy no. 20 containing:
- the 40 ORIGINAL DRAWINGS (graphite, wash, white gouache and pencil) used for all the illustrations,

- the frontispiece in four states (final colour state, two black pre-print states and a hand-watercoloured pre-print state) and its colour breakdown (on 5 plates at the end of the volume)
- the notice sheet by the engravers Vigna-Vigneron paying tribute to the 18th-century master engraver Janinet.
A superb copy, perfectly prepared by Marius Michel, of this exquisite volume so beautifully illustrated by Willette, emblematic of Belle Époque Paris and its popular balls, can-can dances, masked balls, musette dances, official balls, artists’ balls, its opera, and so on.
