In-8, 58 handwritten pages in black ink, root-tanned calfskin, plain decorated spine, gilt scrolls framing the covers, gilt edges (contemporary binding). Scuff marks and scuffs. A lovely, very carefully executed contemporary manuscript copy of this work, originally published in London and Paris by the Widow Ballard & Sons, and in Versailles by Blaisot, in 1782. It is decorated with an ink drawing of a guitar and a small red highlight on the title page, as well as numerous passages of musical notation.
