Paris, Floury, 1926–1927. 2 volumes, in-4, in brown half-chagrin with corner caps, four-ribbed spines, gilt title, illustrated covers and spines preserved. 2 original etchings, numerous illustrations within and outside the text, including 20 colour plates. Included at the end of each volume are the catalogue of paintings and the catalogue of drawings, pastels, watercolours and ceramics. First volume (Painter): 9 colour plates outside the text, 49 plates outside the text, including 32 in two states, 1 in three states, 1 original drypoint in two states, 2 original drypoints reserved for the deluxe edition and 138 illustrations within the text. A limited edition of 175 numbered copies (no. 79) on Japanese paper, including 3 original drypoint engravings by Toulouse-Lautrec in two different print runs. Second volume (Drawings – Prints – Posters): 13 colour plates as inserts, 1 heliogravure plate as an insert, 1 facsimile plate (red chalk) as a separate insert, 33 plates as separate inserts in two states, including 1 original drypoint, 2 original drypoints reserved for the deluxe edition and 123 illustrations within the text. A print run of 200 numbered copies on Japanese paper (no. 79), including 3 original drypoint engravings by Toulouse-Lautrec in two different print runs and 4 original lithographs in two states (the 4 original lithographs listed in the proof sheet were not bound into the copies of the deluxe edition and are therefore not present in this copy). 1 loose plate.
