19th-century fawn morocco bindings signed BRANY, spine with decorated raised bands, black title and volume number labels, triple gilt fillets framing the covers, double gilt fillets on the edges, roulettes and interior fillets with fleurons in the spandrels on blue morocco, double endpapers of handmade paper, gilt edges.
Brany, a Parisian bookbinder who practised his trade during the last third of the 19th century.
