Illustrated with watercolour portraits by ROBAUDI and GIRALDON. Paris, Conquet, 1895. In-8; illustrated with 11 watercolours by ROBAUDI and 35 watercolours by GIRALDON. Numerous illustrated unpaginated proofs. A copy on Japanese paper presented by the publisher Conquet to Henri BERALDI. Midnight blue morocco leather binding signed Ch. MEUNIER, lined with chocolate-coloured morocco leather, gilt title on ribbed spine, gilt edge band on the edges, publisher’s cover retained, gilt edges. A fine copy in excellent condition. Provenance: Henri BERALDI’s gilt bookplate at the foot of the endpaper.
