2 parts in one in-8 volume; illustrated with 2 maps by RAMOND and a fold-out panoramic view (separate from the text) by VIDAL and REBOUL, engraved by TARDIEU.
Contemporary marbled fawn calfskin, smooth spine with decorative lettering, red title label, gilt roulette on the edges, marbled edges.
Provenance: Printed bookplate by Cherisey O’Gorman.
First edition of the ‘Birth Certificate of the Pyrenees’. Only the original (this copy) and the German edition are illustrated with the three plates.
