In-4; colour plates and end-plate illustrations by SAUDÉ. Limited edition of 330 copies, one of 10 on Imperial Japanese paper containing two sets (one in black, the other in colour) signed by the author and the artist. Black morocco leather signed VERMOREL, embossed spine, gold-plate decoration on covers, edges rubbed, double gilt fillet on edges, lace-patterned interior decoration, brown cloth endpapers with silver decoration, double endpapers, original publisher’s cover preserved, gilt head, slipcase.
