Large 8vo. Limited edition of 500 copies; one of 10 on old Japanese paper in the original format, with a set of ‘bis’ copies on Chinese paper, first-quality paper. This copy includes a 4-page 8vo letter from the illustrator to René Kieffer.
Chocolate-coloured morocco leather signed BLANCHETIÈRE, gilt title on ribbed spine, double gilt fillet on the edges, original publisher’s cover retained, double black leather band with central gilt fillet on the inside, chocolate-coloured moiré endpapers, double endpapers, gilt edges, slipcase.
