Cailloué, revised by Porrée (who also authored the epistle to Charles II, p. [15]) based on F. Madan. Permission granted by the Parliament of Rouen on 19 June 1649.
Published in 1649, the year of King Charles I’s execution; this work contributed significantly to the myth of the martyred king.
