Each panel decorated with a double crowned ‘L’. On the covers, edged with a triple gilt line, the crowned coat of arms of Louis XV is centred. Each title page stamped with the royal seal in red ink. Volume I: (6) folios: title page, colophon, approval and errata + LXVII + 480 pages. One fold-out map separate from the text. Headpieces and initials.
