In-4, full purple morocco in a slipcase, ribbed spine (very slight, uniform sun-fading on the spine), front and back covers lined with purple moiré and framed with mosaic leather, gilt fillets. (Binding signed ‘Kra rel.’). One bookplate removed. Title page gilt. Cover preserved. Illustrated with 75 watercolours by Guy de Montabel. One of 83 copies on Imperial Japan paper with endpapers on China paper. A fine copy.
