A collection of over 30 photographic prints relating to the life of Guy Jacquet, including portraits of him in his theatre roles, notably *La nuit des erreurs*, *Soulier de satin* and *La vie parisienne* by Jean-Louis Barrault Sizes ranging from 13 x 18 cm to 18 x 25 cm Signs of handling. Note: Guy Yves JACQUET, born in Azay-le-Rideau on 17 October 1931 and died in Paris on 9 January 1991, was a theatre director, a highly knowledgeable actor and a great enthusiast of Arab culture. As part of three exhibitions: ‘Popular Imagery in the Islamic World’; “The Arab Sky” in collaboration with Hassan Massoudy; and “The 99 Miniatures of Al Wassity”; the works from the Jacquet collection offered for sale today are the final testament to a passion he nurtured throughout his life.
