Italian style paperback in-8, very good condition. Jointly published by TCHOU in 1977. All presented in a full marbled paper slipcase. This little masterpiece of black humour is the first book by Jean BRULLER (1902-1991), who did not adopt his famous pseudonym VERCORS until 1941, during the Resistance. Illustrated by the author, the book includes 21 out-of-text plates coloured with stencils and numerous black historiated vignettes and initials in the text.
