Attractive edition illustrated with 12 out-of-text compositions by Umberto Brunelleschi and numerous Tahitian ornaments by Maurice L'Hoir, all stencilled in colour by Saudé. One of 12 first copies on old Japon, containing a suite in colour and a double suite in black and white on Chine and Japon. Missing the original watercolour and 2 plates from the suites (P. 32 on japon and P. 112 on chine). Beautifully bound in-8 in full jansenist green morocco, spine, smooth, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved, slipcase (binding by Angèline Simeray). Spine very slightly faded.
