This is the first and only book by this animal painter who belonged to the Nabis movement and of whom Guillaume Apollinaire wrote: "Simon Bussy's sharpness and freshness are the hallmarks of his talent, and his colouring sometimes sings as high as that of Matisse..." Edition of 265 copies, this one of 200 copies on Arches, 3rd paper. Paperback, in-4, in a full slipcase of midnight blue decorated paper, square title dsos in coloured Chinese letters. Very rare.
