LABOUREUR Jean-Émile: Petites images de la guerre sur le front britannique, précédées d'une Lettre sur les spectacles de la guerre de Roger Allard. Imprimerie d'A. Vernant Paris 1917. A very rare album of 9 original burins by Jean-Émile Laboureur, drawn and engraved in 1916, when the artist was posted as an interpreter with the 12th British Division. This is the second burin suite devoted by Laboureur to daily life in the British army. A first album, entitled Dans les Flandres britanniques, was produced in 1915 with the help of Marcel Boulestin. Unique edition of 120 copies signed and numbered by the artist. Leaves, in-8, in publisher's full marbled paper jacket, label on front cover and fastening laces.
