Frankfurt, Andream Wechelum, 1580, in-4, sow’s skin, cold-stamped covers, ribbed spine, red edges, clasps (contemporary binding). Famous Greek grammar by the Flemish philologist Nicolas Clénard. A fine contemporary German binding decorated with allegorical motifs highly characteristic of the Renaissance. This binding can be associated with the style of Thomas Reuter (1567–1595).
