A new edition, revised on the basis of several contemporary manuscripts, enriched with notes and illustrations. London-P., Rollin, 1747, 4 vols. in-4, pale calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, gilt inner edge, gilt edges (contemporary binding). A very fine edition of Comines’ Memoirs. Two frontispieces and two folded genealogical tables. A copy on large-format paper, enriched with the series of intaglio engravings known as ‘d’Odieuvre’, comprising 54 portraits, which appears in only a few copies. A fine copy. Minor losses to some of the headpieces; a slight tear at the joints of Volume IV.
