Geneva, 1761, 6 vols. in-12, fawn calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, red edges (contemporary binding). First counterfeit edition published on the same date as the original. 12 engravings by Gravelot. At the end of Volume VI, there are two rare pieces: - A prophecy taken from an old manuscript concerning *La Nouvelle Héloïse*, a novel by J. J. Rousseau. No place, no date, 14 pp. - A collection of engravings for *La Nouvelle Héloïse*, with the subjects of the same engravings, as provided by the publisher. Paris: Duchesne, 1761, 45 pp. The illustrations were printed separately for the first edition. Handwritten bookplate on the title pages: Charlotte Cochard 1794.
