Paris, Eugène Fasquelle, 1901, in-8, aubergine half-shagreen with corner pieces, ribbed spine, gilt head, cover preserved (later binding). First edition. A copy inscribed to Louis Leblois on Japanese paper. Sent by Dreyfus to Leblois. Provenance of considerable significance: Louis Leblois, a close friend of Lieutenant-Colonel Picquart, threw himself into the battle for a retrial. He played a leading role in Dreyfus’s defence and published *L’Affaire Dreyfus, l’iniquité, la réparation. Les principaux faits et les principaux documents*. Paris, Guillet, 1929.
