PRINTED BY LA CORRERIE – A collection of letters and epistles for the whole year, for the use of the people of Chartres. La Correrie, Antoine Fremon, 1686, folio, midnight blue morocco, embossed spine, wide gold lace on the covers, roulette on the edges and inside, gilt edges on marbled paper (later binding). A very fine copy in a late 18th-century binding, a very rare condition for this type of work. Minor worm damage to the endpapers and flyleaves. The pink tabis lining has probably been removed.
