LEMPS (A. de) and FOREST-FLEURY. Old Lyon and Modern Lyon, or A Collection of Views of Lyon Through the Ages, etched by Forest-Fleury. Lyon, Aimé Vingtrinier, 1875, quarto, havana morocco leather, spine with raised ribs, covers in mosaic with green, chestnut and lemon geometric motifs within a frame of gilt fillets, original cover preserved, flesh-coloured embossed silk endpapers, box with illustrated front cover (Henri Jacquet). A very fine volume from this series of engravings by the Lyon-based artist Henry-Fleury Forest, known as Forest (1843–1898). A fine copy in a mosaic-bound edition.
