Description
BONVALLET (Adrien): Richecourt: its castle and its lords, a historical and genealogical account. Vesoul, A. Dornier and Langres, A. Pargon, 1883. In-8°, 50 pp. + 1 separate plate. Modern Bradel-style half-basane, front cover preserved (Laurenchet workshop). A rare offprint, enhanced with an engraving of the castle taken from the Chatillon collection. Richecourt, a village within the parish of Aisey-les-Jussey, ten leagues from Vesoul. Richecourt Castle, built at the end of the 13th century, was completely destroyed following the conquest of Franche-Comté. A copy sent by the author, signed by him, to his president, Mr de la Bonralière.
