Loose sheets in a modern cardboard slipcase with laces. Enriched with – an autograph letter by Mathieu Lambert, 6 pp., entitled ‘Further observations by Citizen Lambert regarding his commitment to the unity and indivisibility of the Republic’ – a double-leaf document addressed to Mathieu Lambert: a dismissal order signed by the Mayor of Besançon, Mr Marrelier, dated 1793 and bearing a wax seal, as well as a handwritten letter on a double sheet addressed to Sieur Pierre-Mathieu Lambert, bearing a wax seal.
