BOUCHOT (Henri): Tales from Franche-Comté, with illustrations by Albert Edelfelt. Single edition. Dole, Vernier-Arcelin, 1887. In-12, 378 pp. + 1 frontispiece illustration. Modern half-basane, ribbed spine, covers preserved. Author’s autographed copy sent to Mr and Mrs François. Also included – by the same author: *Les gaudes*, poems in the local dialect (with an illustration by Jean Gigoux). Besançon, CH. Marion, Morel et Cie, 1883. In-8°, 16–124–(1) pp. + 1 frontispiece illustration. Modern half-basane, ribbed spine, covers intact. First edition. According to Bruno Monnier, the print run is thought not to have exceeded 100 copies. Among these poems in the Franche-Comté dialect is a piece dedicated to cheese.
